Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great experiences. The rooms definitely needed a fresh look as the furniture seemed old and worn, but on the bright side, the hotel was perfect for a relaxing mother-daughter getaway with a spa day planned. However, the noise from teenagers on a football tour was a bit much, and the lack of heat in the changing room made things uncomfortable in the chilly weather.
I had a fabulous stay at the hotel as I treated my daughter to a night away and a spa day the following day. Everything was so good at an excellent price. The only downside was that the room wasn't ready when we checked in, and there was no offer of tea or coffee. We ended up purchasing ourselves while waiting, and the room was extremely warm.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were comfortable, but there was a lingering smell of smoke in my son's family room designated as non-smoking. The service was exceptional, with a free upgrade and thoughtful gestures for our anniversary. The location was convenient for dropping off my daughter at UoL. The dining experience was satisfactory with a selection of cheeses available. The facilities, including the pool, gym, and dining choices, were commendable.
My stay at the hotel was mixed - the rooms were beautiful and comfy with a double and 2 single beds, but they need a fresh new look as the furniture looked old and worn, and it seemed like they had been occupied by smokers the previous night. The service was a bit hit or miss - the end staff, porters, and leisure center staff were friendly, but there were some issues with room service, dry cleaning, and laundry. The location was convenient for the university and access from Dublin and Cork, but it felt a bit tired, and some amenities like a table and a windbreaker were missing. The dining experience was of excellent quality with friendly and efficient staff, but the area was a bit messy, and the rate was expensive and disappointing. Overall, the facilities were decent, but there were some areas for improvement.
The hotel is a fine choice with comfortable rooms and great service. The location is convenient, and the dining experience was excellent overall.
The hotel rooms were fabulous, the food was excellent, and the staff was so friendly. However, the rooms seemed a little tired and there was some noise from a group of teenagers on a football tour. One double bed and one single were provided, but a king-size bed would have been more comfortable.
